Waiting under the canopy of a diner during a heavy summer downpour.  Rain and snow, some sort of distraction are the best times for me to photograph strangers.  A common bond forms and inhibitions break down.

What an interesting choice to use Sepia. It adds warmth to what in my mind’s eye is a cool if effervescent experience. It makes me curious to see the colour originals of this and the following shot to see if they match with my instinct about the hues and tones of the actual event.
