This second shot is straight out of the camera without swapping the red / blue channels in PS. These are all with the 87 filter, but I am now saving an extra jpg, and for some reason although I’m still posting from the raw files, the colors are as they’re supposed to be.  There is a kid in the photograph, or there was, but he was running around so fast that he disappeared during the 15 second exposure.

Hmmm…. at this rate, I wonder whether I should change the blog title to Color Infrared. I haven’t gotten the converted camera yet from LifePixel, (probably another week)so these are all shot with the 87 filter and usually about a ten second exposure @ ASA 800 with the 20mm lens. In other words, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the people in the shot don’t move.

I think it may have been a good thing that I ordered the LifePixel camera with the 72 filter which will give me more color options to play with.
