Do nothing day.  I've been reading the Nero Wolfe books.  Lots of them.  If I start talking like Archie Goodwin, let me know.

I did a bit of shooting of a doorman that I know while he was working.  Nice to find a friendly face.  And I've been writing tunes again (don't tell anyone).

I have a long list of things to do that I haven't done.  What else is new.  But tomorrow, if the weather cooperates I'm going to do something I've been thinking about for a while and take one of those double-decker guided tour buses around.  I like the idea of using them to get a higher angle.

Monday -- to the Motor Vehicles Dept to get my license renewed, and then off to shoot that Cemetery I mentioned on the Hudson -- near the G.W. Bridge.  I dread going to the Motor Vehicles Dept. -- and it's true, I could get it renewed over the net, but they say it will take four weeks.  Do you get arrested or just get a ticket if you drive with an expired license.  I don't want to find out.

Favorite line in the Wolfe books -- Archie talking: "I sat down on the other side of my lap."

The plots don't interest me much -- but the patter is great.  And Wolfe will always toss in a word that neither Archie nor I have ever heard of.  What flummery.

TOTAL REVENUE IN THIS PERIOD: I don't remember, but it wasn't much.  I think there were a couple of card sales and there was one good-sized order, but, no -- that was last week.  These statistics are not foward-leaning, or trumped up in anyway are actual web statistics from WebTrends.  Hits -- well, hits don't mean anything.  Each graphic whether a 1 pixel dot gif or anything counts as a hit, but a page view -- that's something different.  That is someone loading an actual web page.  The management takes no responsibility for these figures being correct although they have done the best they could with limited resources to bring you the reality -- huh.   Anyway, the cat woke me at 3:30 a.m. so having nothing better to do I'm posting this for your viewing pleasure.

What I really want to do is put up a page with all the "hotlinked" sites.  That is one fascinating collection of Americana.
