| Steps of Met. |
| A man and his shadow, and the glint of sun and a jaunty hat - walking up the steps to the Metropolitan Museum. I have been asked many times how this shot was done, so here goes: I was sitting on the steps of the Met facing 5th ave, when I noticed the way the light was striking people as they walked up the steps, and how dark the background was. I was not thinking about their shadows. |
