Cab and Cross,New York

Cab & Cross

I've been driving a cab for four years, he said.  All that time, I've been going to college and I'm going to graduate soon with a degree in Computer Science.  I hate driving the cab.  Everyone gives you such a hard time.  When I started people used to really get on my nerves.  The cops are trying to give you tickets for every little thing.  The passengers - they treat you like dirt sometimes.  But I'll have my degree soon, and hopefully I'll be able to do better.  Sometimes, when the passenger gives me a hard time I say, I'm sorry sir.  This is my first day on the job.  That helps.

What,New York

What?

I'm obviously moving back to my b&w roots.  My color attempts have proved to be beyond my grasp right now.  If you notice, almost every time I put a color shot up, there is some attempt to manipulate it.  I don't have anything against color, but I don't seem to be able to do it very well.

"Is that Grand Central?"  - Matt

You know, I totally lost my bearings that day.  I came out of Grand Central through some door that I never use and wasn't sure exactly where I was.  I think it is on the North Side.   There was this barrier with a lot of construction workers sitting around, and I think the background was TGIFs or some restaurant like that.  I sat on the barrier with the construction workers for a long time watching people exit the restaurant when I took this shot.
