Gunhill Road, Bronx New York

I suppose that the entire world looks like Gunhill Road. Every morning you can hear some report about a traffic jam on Gunhill Road. Many years ago, the Revolutionary Army made a stand here, and were able to hold off the British by using the rocky, hilly terrain to their advantage. Woodlawn Cemetery is somewhere on the right, and the Dyre Avenue Elevated tracks are behind you. Horns are blasting, and tempers are rising, and it might take some of the cars another ten minutes to go two blocks.

I offer several Bronx photographs as Note Cards here
